About The Photographer

Marcy developed her love of photography at the young age of 14. With only a rangefinder in hand, she began to photograph the world around her in black and white. Many days and nights were spent in the basement developing those images. The same love of photography has carried on today. Though much of the wet developing has been replaced by digital methods, she still strives to achieve the perfect image! Originally trained as an engineer in Photographic Science, Marcy worked as a software engineer for 10 years. Her desire to pursue photography led her to London, England where she worked in a commercial photography studio for several years. Combining her love of travel and photography, she was able to spend time photographing many areas of Europe. Eventually she was lured back to the U.S. with dreams of opening her own photography studio. With the dream now a reality, she enjoys photographing people of all ages. Young and old, families, children, and babies, she tries to capture the essence of each person. Each portrait is unique and special. Enjoy!
